I don’t have a lot of patience for messy systems, so this has been a big help. Managing all our locations feels way less chaotic now, and I’m not wasting time trying to figure out what’s going on at each store.

I had to give notice when canceling, which was a little annoying at first, but it ended up being fine. The terms seemed fair overall, even if I was kind of frustrated in the moment

I’ve been using Smile Dining for takeout lately, the notifications have been really accurate. I wasn’t sure at first if I could actually trust the pickup updates, but so far they’ve shown up on time and matched what the restaurant was doing. I get the confirmation, then the pickup info, and I don’t have to sit there wondering or call anyone. Maybe I’m just easy to please, but it’s been working well for me...

"Works Well Most of the Time"
Overall, it works well most of the time. I did run into one small glitch, but nothing too major. I think most customers would be happy with it as long as they don’t mind the occasional minor hiccup.

Setting up discounts and promo codes was straightforward overall, nothing too complicated. I did run into one screen that confused me a bit, but support helped me through it — and after that, the deals went live without any issues.

Setting up the delivery zones was straightforward, thankfully. Being able to change fees by area has saved us a lot of time, which is nice because I really didn’t want another thing to overcomplicate. It’s working well so far.

The options fit us well and seemed like a good match for what we needed. I’ll admit though, after making the payment, I started feeling a bit unsure and didn’t fully trust how things would go from there. It worked out okay, but that feeling definitely stuck with me

"Campaign tools could be better"
I tried using SmileDining to run a few email and text promos, and I really wanted it to be smooth!! The actual campaign tools felt basic though, and setting up a promo took more clicks than I expected. The preview also didn’t always match what customers ended up seeing, which was frustrating.
It’s fine if you’re just sending simple blasts, but the tracking felt limited, and going back to edit older campaigns was kind of a pain. Support did get back to me, which I appreciated, but the answers weren’t super helpful!!

I used Smile Dining to place an order it was smooth. The site loaded quickly, the menu was easy to follow, and I didn’t have to hunt around to add what I wanted. Checkout was simple too, and I liked being able to review everything before paying. Nothing over-the-top, but it worked exactly how it should, which I definitely appreciate. I’d use it again
"Nice branding work, umm, clear overall"
The branding presentation from Smile Dining was easy to follow. Umm, the colors and layout looked clean, and it helped our team get a clearer feel for the idea. A couple sections maybe could’ve used a bit more detail, but overall it was helpful and professional without feeling overdone.

"Feels great to actually own our customer info"
We moved over to Smile Dining mainly because we wanted better control of our customer data, that part has been a big win. It’s nice not feeling like we’re cut off from the people ordering from us, which was a frustration with other platforms. Orders have been coming through smoothly, and we’ve already been able to use the customer info for our own promotions. Setup wasn’t perfect and had a few little hiccups, but support was helpful and got us through it. Overall, I’m really glad we made the switch.
"Loyalty support was slower than I’d expect"
I was trying to get some help setting up the loyalty program, it took longer than it should have to get clear answers. The support team was polite, but the replies felt surface-level, and I ended up having to repeat myself a couple of times.
Once I figured things out, the program worked fine, but I do have a higher standard for support when it comes to something customers interact with regularly. I expected the setup and guidance to be more straightforward and less confusing.

Changing the menu has been simple for me. I can update prices and add or remove items quickly without much hassle. I’ll admit I was a little distrustful right after paying, wondering if it would actually work as smoothly as promised, but so far it’s been fine and hasn’t given me any headaches...

"Checkout fees didn’t seem very clear"
When I got to checkout, the taxes and fees showed up in a way that felt a little confusing. I don’t mind paying what’s required, but it should be clear upfront what each charge is for. Just seems like common sense to make the final total easy to understand before you pay

"The reports I actually use"
I’m mostly using Smile Dining for the sales and order reports, and they’ve been useful. The dashboard is simple enough, and what items are selling good I can see without clicking around forever. The analytics also helped us spot our slower days, so we changed a few things from that. So far, I’m happy with it.

The pricing feels reasonable for what you get. It’s probably not the cheapest option out there, but it has saved us a good amount of time and generally works well. I’d say it’s worth considering if you’re looking for something reliable without too much hassle

Got the delivery setup going and it worked well. My orders synced fine overall, just had one small delay at one point, but nothing too major tbh
